Merdeka!
Written by Hero on 11/01/2009 01:45:00 AMWell.. almost.
To the curious minds out there (as if there are a lot of you), let it be known that I am not celebrating other country's independence nor am I being seriously belated in honoring ours. I am in fact "Merdeka!" since 4 pm this afternoon (31 October 2009). It was my Oral Literacy final exam! Don't be fooled by the name of the subject. There's nothing oral about it. I had to spent 3 hours to answer 2 questions out of a choice of three. And it was an open book exam. To those who are familiar with the open book examination concept will nod in agreement to the fact that being as such, did not at all warrant an easy pass. What a cliche'. It was the same back then when I was an undergraduate. Whenever the lecturer said that there will be an open book test or exam, be rest assured that the answers rarely will be in any of those book or notes you have.
I guess the books are there just to ensure that at least you have some real names to quote from. :p
Anyway.. all in all.. I am a "free man" again. I have finished all of my courses and now it's time to start with my thesis. Others who joined this program around the same time with me (and who are full-time students) are probably in their 3rd or 4th chapter stage. I, on the other hand, am still looking for a suitable supervisor. :p
And until I managed to find one.. I will keep on looking for a topic for my thesis. BAH! Which I also don't really have at the moment!
Subhanallah.. is this "Merdeka"? :|
